Hermino Ranu arrested for trespassing at Merrill convenience store

On February 19, 2025, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man at Casey’s in Merrill who had previously been issued a trespass warning for the location. The incident occurred at approximately 8:05 PM.

The individual, identified as Hermino Ranu, age 56, from Le Mars, Iowa, was arrested and charged with first-offense trespass. Following his arrest, Ranu was taken to the Plymouth County Jail. His bond was set at $300.
