Senator Joni Ernst, representing Iowa in the U.S. Senate, recently posted a series of messages on her official social media account addressing issues ranging from airport security funding to agricultural achievements and holiday greetings.

She wrote, “Our @TSA agents work hard to keep us safe and provide for their families. But they are being forced to work without paychecks because Democrats refuse to fund @DHSgov. If you are experiencing delays in TSA lines, call Chuck Schumer! https://t.co/JJcrFoJvim”.
The following day, March 17, 2026, Ernst marked National Agriculture Week by recognizing Iowa’s farming community. She stated, “Happy National Ag Week! In Iowa, our farmers work hard every day to feed and fuel the world — making us the top producer for corn, pork, and eggs! This week and every week, join me in thanking them for their tireless dedication to ensuring we have access to nutritious https://t.co/dySCw24End”.
