Thank you President Trump for hosting them in the Oval Office and rightfully honoring our servicemembers who lost their lives in the Abbey Gate terrorist attack.” Gold Star families are those who have lost loved ones serving in the U.S. Armed Forces; the Abbey Gate attack refers to an incident during the withdrawal from Afghanistan that resulted in multiple American casualties.
