On August 14, 2025, Senator Ernst posted about a visit to a manufacturing facility: “I had a great time touring Legacy Manufacturing in Marion with @RepAshleyHinson! They are the perfect example of how we can make ‘Made in America’ the norm instead of the exception.”
The following day, on August 15, she shared her experience at a fair food tent: “My favorite place at the fair: @IowaPork Tent. I had a great time flipping pork chops with @SBA_Kelly and @epaleezeldin!”
Later that same day, Ernst commented on one of her favorite foods at the event: “My favorite new food at the Iowa State Fair this year – @IowaPork’s Hawaiian Hog.”
