The City of Sioux City Engineering Division announces the closure of eastbound lane on Leech Avenue between South Irene Street and South Rustin Street. This closure will allow the City’s contractor to complete street repairs. The closure is anticipated to begin the morning of June 12, 2023, and is anticipated to be completed and reopened to traffic June 17, 2023, weather dependent.

A detour utilizing South Fairmount Street, Washington Avenue, and South Rustin Street will be posted. Motorists are advised to reduce speed, drive cautiously, and obey all traffic control signs with regards to this closure.
