Museum Announces Kid’s Saturdays Activities for 2022

City of Sioux City recently issued the following announcement.

The Sioux City Public Museum’s activities for families with young children continue this winter with free Kid’s Saturdays.

Adults and children are invited to explore hands-on learning craft stations along with a scavenger hunt of the Museum gallery. Craft quantities are limited.

Kid’s Saturdays begin the new year with “Back to the Wild!” on Saturday, January 15. The crafts and scavenger hunt will be based on the traveling photography exhibit, Thomas D. Mangelsen – A Life In The Wild. The program coincides with the closing weekend of the popular wildlife photography exhibit.

Upcoming Kid’s Saturdays dates and themes:
Saturday, February 12       A Museum Valentine
Saturday, March 12             A Leprechaun’s Tour of Sioux City
Saturday, April 9                   The Wheels Go Round  

On display through January 16, 2022, the Thomas D. Mangelsen – A Life In The Wild Tour is produced by David J. Wagner, L.L.C. (davidjwagnerllc.com) in partnership with Thomas D. Mangelsen, Inc. (mangelsen.com).
