The Sioux City Public Museum was awarded a $20,000 Cultural Leadership Partners (CLP) grant award from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs for FY23.

“We are pleased to once again benefit from funding provided by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs,” said Steve Hansen, Museum director. “The grant provided for a variety of exhibit-related and security expenses.”

Cultural Leadership Partners represent arts and cultural organizations that demonstrate an exemplary record of programming and managerial excellence and community service on a year-round basis to the citizens of Iowa. The Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs believes these partnerships are a shared investment in a vigorous and rich cultural environment that improves the quality of life for all Iowans.

The Sioux City Public Museum, 607 4th Street, is regularly open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is free. For visitor information, visit SiouxCityMuseum.org or call 712-279-6174.
