City of Sioux City recently issued the following announcement.

Sioux City is proud to welcome the annual National Associate Of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I Women’s Basketball National Championship, returning to the Tyson Events Center March 17 – 22, 2022. The championship will feature the 16 top women’s basketball teams from across the country, competing in a single-elimination championship that tips off Thursday, March 17.

Full tournament and single day passes are on sale now! Tickets can be purchased online at www.TysonCenter.com, by calling 712.279.4850, or by visiting the Primebank Box Office.

The 2022 NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship is presented by Bomgaars and welcomed by the Sioux City Sports Commission, The Stuck Biven-Rose Group at Baird, U.S. Bank, Marriott South Sioux City Riverfront, Riverside Technologies, Inc., The City Of Sioux City, Security National Bank, Explore Sioux City, and The South Sioux City CVB. Championship Night on March 22 is presented by Scheels.
