Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrests local man for multiple driving violations

On February 15, 2026, a Plymouth County Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 75 near 260th Street. The vehicle involved was a gray 2024 GMC Terrain. The driver, identified as Nicholas McKinney, age 19, from Le Mars, was taken into custody.

According to the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office, McKinney was arrested and transported to the Plymouth County Jail. He faces charges of driving while license revoked, operating without an ignition interlock device, and failing to have SR-22 insurance.
