Public Museum’s Holiday Activities & Hours Announced

The Sioux City Public Museum announced its upcoming holiday activities and hours at a press conference today.

Kid’s Saturdays on Saturday, December 10 features free “Holiday Make and Take” activities from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Young children accompanied by an adult(s) are invited to make fun holiday crafts including an elf, Star of David, and snowman and explore the Museum gallery with a holiday scavenger hunt. Craft quantities are limited.

Throughout winter break, a Beatles-themed scavenger hunt will be available for families to explore the exhibit, Meet the Beatles! A Fab Four Memorabilia Collection.

The Sioux City Public Museum will close at 4:00 p.m. on December 24 and remain closed on December 25 for the Christmas holiday. The facility will also close at 4:00 p.m. on December 31 and remain closed on January 1 for New Year’s.

The Sioux City Public Museum is located at 607 4th Street in downtown Sioux City. Admission is free.
