Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, addressed issues ranging from agricultural policy to government funding in a series of posts on March 26, 2026.
In one post, Feenstra emphasized the importance of transparency for farmers facing higher costs: “As our farmers and producers face rising fertilizer input costs, transparency and fairness in the marketplace are more important than ever. That’s why I’m glad to help lead the Fertilizer Transparency Act with @RepDustyJohnson to provide timely, accurate, and transparent” (March 26, 2026).
Later that day, Feenstra commented on legislative action regarding federal employees: “I just voted to pass @RepCiscomani’s Pay Our Homeland Defenders Act—to end the Democrats’ shutdown and fully funding DHS, Border Patrol, TSA, Coast Guard, and Secret Service. Democrats’ partisan games have forced more than 100,000 employees working to defend our country to miss” (March 26, 2026).
Feenstra also highlighted his engagement with regional stakeholders: “This week, I met with the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association to discuss passing a strong Farm Bill, expanding tax relief, supporting Iowa’s workforce, and giving farmers the equipment they need to succeed. Randy Feenstra succeeded Steve King in Congress after winning election in 2020. Before serving in Congress, he was an Iowa State Senator from 2009 until his congressional term began. Born in Hull in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra is an alumnus of Dordt University.
