Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates this week on social media about his recent activities, including discussions with local energy leaders, tax policy positions, and support for National FFA Week.
On February 25, 2026, Feenstra posted about a meeting focused on disaster recovery and community protections: “This week, I had a productive conversation with Missouri River Energy Services, alongside Sioux Center Council Member Eric Moerman and Utility Manager Murray Hulstein. Later that day, he addressed federal tax policy in another post: “No tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security. Real results thanks to President Trump!” (February 25, 2026).
On February 26, 2026, Feenstra highlighted his support for agricultural education by recognizing National FFA Week: “This week is National #FFAWeek! And in honor of this week, I proudly helped introduce the National FFA Week Resolution, to designate February 21-28 in honor of this incredible organization. With over 1 million student members across 9,000 local chapters, this organization”.
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021. Before his time in the House of Representatives, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dordt University in 1991.
