Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight meetings and events focused on agricultural policy and support for Iowa farmers.
On March 26, 2026, Feenstra posted about a meeting with stakeholders from the agricultural sector: “Today, I met with the National Turkey Federation and John Moline of Moline Brothers Farm in Mason to discuss how to support Iowa farmers through agricultural labor and passing a strong Farm Bill. Hearing directly from producers is critical, and I will continue to advance their https://t.co/ZEdSxGvEPN”.
The following day, March 27, he addressed Proposition 12 during his regular online update: “Welcome back to another Farm Bill Friday! Today, we’re talking about Prop 12. Prop 12 is an unscientific mandate that allows states like California to dictate how Iowa farmers operate—raising pork prices for families, threatening animal health, and undermining our food security. https://t.co/WImD6OEtB4”.
Later on March 27, Feenstra reported attending an event at the White House: “I am honored to attend President Trump’s Great American Agriculture Celebration at the White House today. This marks the largest gathering of farmers at the White House in history, a day to celebrate all they do to feed and fuel our nation. In Iowa, agriculture is the backbone https://t.co/1xDJD0yqpW”.
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since 2021 after succeeding Steve King. Before joining Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
