Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared his views on recent legislative developments and law enforcement actions through a series of tweets. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, Feenstra has been active in politics for several years, having served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021 before his current role.

On July 10, 2025, Feenstra tweeted about the signing of a significant piece of legislation by President Trump. He stated that “On Independence Day, President Trump signed into law the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ — liberating the American people from high taxes.” According to Feenstra, this law is expected to stimulate economic growth and provide substantial tax cuts.

Later that day, Feenstra expressed gratitude towards law enforcement agencies via another tweet. He wrote “Thank you to law enforcement for detaining this vile criminal.” He further mentioned that under the Trump administration’s policies “violent illegal immigrants will be deported.”

In a subsequent tweet on July 10th as well, Feenstra highlighted the financial benefits of Trump’s new bill for American families. He asserted that “President Trump’s ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ will deliver increased take-home pay for American families of up to $10,900.” This increase represents significant savings for taxpayers according to Feenstra.

Randy Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991 and continues to reside in Hull.
