Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, used Tax Day to reiterate his commitment to defending taxpayer dollars and supporting tax relief measures for working families.
On April 14, Feenstra posted on social media: “I will always work to defend taxpayer dollars, and the Working Families Tax Cut does exactly that. I was proud to work with my Republican colleagues and President Trump to deliver the largest tax cut in American history, and I’ll keep working to safeguard taxpayer dollars and https://t.co/FQQB2ZgtDx”.
The following day, April 15—Tax Day—Feenstra highlighted additional elements of his tax policy agenda: “Today is Tax Day! By preventing the largest tax hike in American history, eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security, and supporting Main Street businesses, this historic tax relief is delivering for Iowans. This is just the beginning. I look forward to delivering”.
Later on April 15, Feenstra noted his participation with other House Republicans in drawing attention to these issues at the Capitol: “Today, I joined my Republican colleagues on the House steps this Tax Day to highlight the impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts. Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in 2021. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 until 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor’s degree in 1991.
