Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted several updates on his social media accounts in early April 2026, addressing both holiday greetings and legislative initiatives.
On April 5, Feenstra extended Easter wishes to his constituents with the message: “He has risen! Wishing families across Iowa a blessed Easter.”
The following day, Feenstra highlighted Republican efforts regarding tax policy. On April 6, he stated: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Republicans secured the 20% small business deduction. This prevents a massive tax hike on millions of small businesses that power our Main Streets.”
Later that same day, Feenstra addressed agricultural policy and land ownership issues. He wrote: “Our farmland belongs in the hands of American farmers. That’s why I was proud to introduce the FARMLAND Act, which was included in the Farm Bill to improve oversight and ensure American farmland goes to the next generation of American farmers.”
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 until his election to federal office. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra is an alumnus of Dordt University.
