Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district, has highlighted his recent legislative efforts in support of farmers, small businesses, and working families through a series of social media posts.
On March 9, 2026, Feenstra wrote: “Farmers care about results, and it’s our responsibility to deliver them. That’s why I supported a Farm Bill that opens new markets and removes unfair barriers that have prevented American agriculture from competing on a level playing field. I look forward to seeing this Farm”.
Later the same day, Feenstra shared news of an award from the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), stating: “I was honored to receive the Small Business Tax Deduction Champion pennant from @NFIB, recognizing the successful effort to make the 20% small business tax deduction permanent through the Working Families Tax Cuts. As a Member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I fought to”.
On March 10, Feenstra addressed tax relief for families: “Through the Working Families Tax Cuts, I was proud to deliver real results for working families and meaningful childcare relief. Here are just a few of the ways we’ve done that: Permanent Child Tax Credit boost to $2,200 Up to $5,000 of the Adoption Tax Credit now”.
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since 2021 after serving in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He succeeded Steve King in Congress and is originally from Hull, Iowa, where he currently resides. Feenstra graduated from Dordt University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree.
