Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to highlight key issues affecting farmers and working families in Iowa.
On March 25, 2026, Feenstra posted about a meeting with the Iowa Farm Bureau: “Today, I had a productive meeting with the Iowa Farm Bureau to discuss key priorities for our farmers.
We focused on the urgent need to pass a strong Farm Bill, address the impacts of Prop 12, and tackle rising input costs that are squeezing producers.
As the representative of https://t.co/Xb7STt9uBv“.
The following day, Feenstra commented on recent tax relief measures: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Americans are seeing real relief, with tax refunds up an average of 10% this filing season.
Bigger refunds, more money back in your pocket, thanks to President Trump!” (March 26, 2026).
Later that same day, he addressed concerns over foreign ownership of farmland: “American farmland should be owned by Americans.
That’s why I was glad to include my FARMLAND Act in the Farm Bill—to increase transparency allowing us to know who owns our farmland and where foreign investments are concentrated, strengthen enforcement, and put American farmers” (March 26, 2026).
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021. Before his time in Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra is also an alumnus of Dordt University.
