Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on key policy issues and recent meetings with constituents through a series of posts on February 25, 2026.
In one post, Feenstra highlighted recent changes in fuel prices, stating, “Iowa gas is down to $1.89 per gallon. Real results highlighted at President Trump’s State of the Union!” (February 25, 2026).
He also discussed his engagement with local officials: “This week, I met with the Iowa State Association of Counties for a productive discussion on key issues facing our communities, including infrastructure and disaster recovery. As a former city administrator in my hometown of Hull, I understand the vital role county leaders play.” (February 25, 2026).
Addressing legislative priorities, Feenstra referenced comments from President Trump’s State of the Union and explained his support for congressional ethics reform: “As President Trump said in the State of the Union, restoring trust between the people and their elected officials is essential. That’s why I cosponsored the Stop Insider Trading Act, to ban members of Congress from profiting off insider information.” (February 25, 2026).
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
