Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on March 27, 2026, emphasizing the importance of biofuels, the Farm Bill, and tax policies for farmers.
In a post at 17:32 UTC, Feenstra wrote, “This announcement recognizes the critical role that homegrown biofuels play in strengthening our rural economy and securing our nation’s energy future. I applaud President Trump and Administrator Zeldin for finalizing the strongest commitment to our nation’s farmers, consumers,” referencing recent federal actions supporting biofuel initiatives.
Later that day at 19:57 UTC, Feenstra addressed agricultural policy efforts: “Today, President Trump highlighted the urgent need to pass a strong Farm Bill to support our farmers. I was proud to include 15 of my bills in the Farm Bill—strengthening export markets, keeping China out of Iowa farmland, and supporting farmers’ safety. I will keep pushing to”.
At 21:18 UTC on March 27, Feenstra also commented on tax reforms affecting agriculture: “Today, President Trump highlighted the historic success of the Working Families Tax Cuts, including my work to increase the death tax exemption to $15 million. This is a real win for our farmers, and we are working to secure farmland for the next generation.”
Randy Feenstra has served as U.S. Representative for Iowa’s 4th District since defeating Steve King in 2021. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
