Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021 and a former Iowa State Senator, recently posted a series of messages on his social media account emphasizing the importance of the Farm Bill and recent economic developments under President Trump.
On March 20, 2026, Feenstra wrote, “President Trump is right! We must pass a strong Farm Bill that protects the farmers who feed and fuel the world. I was proud to include 15 of my bills to strengthen export markets, keep China out of Iowa’s farmland, and support farmers’ safety. This Farm Bill isn’t just” (March 20, 2026).
Later that day, he continued his focus on agricultural policy with another post: “Welcome back to another Farm Bill Friday! This week: broadband. Expanding high-speed internet is critical to economic growth in rural Iowa—powering Main Street businesses and connecting our communities to the world. I am proud to secure major wins in the Farm Bill, including my” (March 20, 2026).
Feenstra also highlighted economic outcomes for families in his third post: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Americans are seeing a 1.3% increase in their paychecks. Families are seeing results under President Trump!” (March 20, 2026).
Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s largely rural 4th congressional district since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021. Before joining Congress, he served as an Iowa State Senator from 2009 until his election to federal office. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
