Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, shared several updates on July 3, 2025, regarding legislative developments and his travel plans with former President Donald Trump. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King in Congress and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, communicated these updates through a series of tweets.

On July 3, 2025, Feenstra announced his vote in favor of President Trump’s “One, Big, Beautiful Bill.” He described it as “the largest tax cut for Iowa families, farmers, workers, seniors, and small businesses in U.S. history.” According to Feenstra’s tweet, the bill aims to stimulate economic growth, fund the border wall fully, and support U.S. energy independence.

Later that day, Feenstra expressed satisfaction with the passage of the bill. In another tweet at 19:18:52 UTC on July 3rd, he stated that they had delivered on “the mandate of the American people.”

In a subsequent update at 19:53:40 UTC on July 3rd, Feenstra shared his travel plans alongside President Trump. He noted in his tweet that they were headed to Iowa aboard Air Force One to celebrate Independence Day.

Randy Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently resides there. He graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
