Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, has recently shared insights on President Trump’s legislative initiative via social media. Feenstra, who succeeded Steve King and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021, has expressed support for the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” through a series of tweets.

On July 7, 2025, Feenstra tweeted that “President Trump’s ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ ELIMINATES taxes on Social Security for nearly 90% of Americans who receive Social Security benefits!” This policy aims to alleviate the tax burden on Social Security recipients.

Later that day, he posted another tweet at 15:11 UTC stating that “President Trump’s ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ ENDS taxes on overtime for our brave law enforcement officers.” He emphasized the importance of allowing these officers to retain their earnings as they protect communities.

At 16:18 UTC on the same day, Feenstra highlighted another aspect of the bill by tweeting that “The ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ increases the child tax credit to $2,200 and indexes it to inflation.” He noted that this measure provides parents with more financial flexibility in raising their children and strengthens family units as a foundation for strong communities.

Feenstra was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and graduated from Dordt University in 1991 with a BA. He continues to reside in Hull while serving his constituents.
