Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted a series of statements on his official social media account on September 24, 2025. The tweets addressed issues ranging from energy policy and agricultural support to law enforcement and tax policy.

In a post at 12:39 p.m. UTC, Feenstra advocated for legislative action to expand ethanol fuel availability: “We must make year-round #E15 the law of the land to lower gas prices for families and support our corn farmers. A recent study found that, by taking this action, $25.8 billion would be added to U.S. GDP, incomes would rise by $10.3 billion, and 128,000 jobs would be created!” (September 24, 2025).

Later that day at 4:30 p.m., he responded to news of violence against federal immigration authorities: “The deadly attack on a Dallas ICE Field Office is despicable and heartbreaking. Our ICE agents deserve our deepest appreciation and strongest support for their service to our nation.” (September 24, 2025).

At 7:26 p.m., Feenstra commented on national tax policy debates: “President Trump and Republicans STOPPED the largest tax increase on families, farmers, workers, and small businesses in U.S. history. Democrats all voted to raise taxes on working families and small businesses.” (September 24, 2025).

Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s largely rural fourth congressional district since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021; he previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, Feenstra holds a BA from Dordt University (Facts summarized from his biography).
