Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, highlighted several legislative initiatives and local engagements in a series of social media posts between April 1 and April 2, 2026.
On April 1, Feenstra shared his meeting with the new president of Iowa State University. He wrote, “Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with Iowa State’s new president, David Cook. We had a great conversation about ensuring world-class education in Iowa and how to best support our students. The following day, Feenstra posted about recent tax policy changes affecting American workers: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, no tax on overtime means a boost in take-home pay of up to $12,500 for over 80 million hourly workers. I’m proud to help deliver this real relief for hardworking Americans, and I’ll keep working with President Trump to achieve even more”. Later on April 2, he addressed benefits for seniors during National Social Security Month: “April is National Social Security Month and I’m proud to help deliver no tax on Social Security through the Working Families Tax Cuts, securing $6,000 in additional deductions for millions of seniors nationwide. Seniors deserve certainty in retirement—not added tax burdens—and”.
Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since replacing Steve King in Congress in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969, Feenstra continues to reside there and is an alumnus of Dordt University (Class of 1991).
