Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted a series of updates on April 9, 2026, highlighting his ongoing efforts to support Iowa farmers and the agricultural sector.

In a tweet posted at 17:53 UTC, Feenstra stated, “Iowa farmers are continuing to face challenging market conditions. It’s essential that we give them certainty. That’s why I’m working to get a strong 5-year Farm Bill across the finish line that includes my bills to expand trade, strengthen supply chains, and deliver the tools”.

An hour later, at 18:53 UTC, Feenstra shared details from a recent visit with USDA Under Secretary Luke Lindberg: “Today, I had the privilege of joining USDA Under Secretary Luke Lindberg for a tour of the Agriculture Processing Incorporated facility. Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since defeating Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and continues to reside there. Feenstra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dordt University.
