Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of updates on his official Twitter account covering legislative achievements, local community news, and national security concerns.
On March 13, 2026, Feenstra introduced a new initiative with the post: “Welcome to the first edition of my new series, Farm Bill Friday, where each week I highlight the wins we achieved in the Farm Bill. In this edition, we’re talking about the FARMLAND Act, which strengthens oversight, closes security gaps, and helps ensure American farmland stays https://t.co/S68vtinYpg”. The FARMLAND Act is part of ongoing efforts to bolster agricultural policy and protect domestic farmland.
Later that day, Feenstra addressed recent international events by posting: “We mourn the loss of Chief Warrant Officer Robert Marzan, who was tragically killed in the March 1st Iranian drone strike in Kuwait. A longtime resident of Des Moines, Robert served our nation for more than 30 years with honor and dedication. The Iranian attack in Kuwait has”. This statement follows reports regarding increased tensions involving Iran and U.S. personnel abroad.
In another message posted on March 13th, Feenstra congratulated a local sports team: “Congratulations to the Ballard Bombers for winning the Iowa High School Boys Basketball 3A Championship in a thrilling final! This is an incredible milestone and they are making our community so proud!”.
Randy Feenstra has served as Iowa’s 4th District representative since replacing Steve King in 2021. Prior to his congressional role, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
