Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, has promoted the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill” in a series of recent posts on his social media account. Feenstra’s statements focus on the bill’s aims to increase domestic energy production and provide significant tax cuts.

On August 16, 2025, Feenstra wrote: “Do you want to see the United States produce more energy here at home? Then the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ is for you! This law unleashes domestic energy production and reduces our reliance on foreign countries for our energy needs.”

Two days later, on August 18, he described the bill’s potential economic impact: “The ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ will be jet fuel for our economy. This law will ensure that the USA remains the world’s leading economic superpower while delivering the largest tax cuts ever for families, farmers, workers, seniors, and small businesses.”

Later that day, Feenstra emphasized benefits for older Americans: “Iowa seniors WIN with the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill.’ Under this law, 88% of seniors will not pay tax on their Social Security benefits.”

Randy Feenstra succeeded Steve King in Congress and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra holds a BA from Dordt University.
