Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, used his social media platform on August 12, 2025, to promote the “One, Big, Beautiful Bill,” highlighting its benefits for small businesses and manufacturers in Iowa.

In a morning post on August 12, Feenstra wrote: “If you are a small business owner, the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ is for you. We made permanent the 20% small business deduction, ensuring small businesses can grow & invest in their employees. By supporting job creators, the ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ strengthens Main Street!”

Later that day at Senator Joni Ernst’s Entrepreneur Expo in Ames, Feenstra addressed attendees about the legislation’s local impact. He stated: “Today, at @SenJoniErnst’s Entrepreneur Expo in Ames, I spoke about how President Trump’s ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ benefits Iowa’s small businesses and manufacturers. This law will be jet fuel for our economy — powering growth up and down our main streets and in rural Iowa.”

He followed with another message after participating in the event alongside Senator Ernst: “It was great to be with @SenJoniErnst at her Entrepreneur Expo to discuss how President Trump’s ‘One, Big, Beautiful Bill’ will promote ‘Made in America’ and grow our economy. With tax cuts for small businesses and provisions for domestic manufacturing, our economy will ignite!”

Randy Feenstra succeeded Steve King as representative of Iowa’s 4th district after winning election in 2020 and has served continuously since then. Prior to his tenure in Congress beginning in 2021, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 through 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
