Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on legislative actions and community engagement through a series of posts on April 16 and 17, 2026.
On April 16, Feenstra announced his support for tax relief measures for families: “Today, I voted to pass a resolution to express immense support for the Working Families Tax Cuts and the historic success we have already seen for families on Tax Day. Iowans alone are saving more than $3,000 in refunds. This is what pro-growth, pro-family tax policy looks like”.
The following day, Feenstra highlighted agricultural policy in his weekly update: “Welcome back to another edition of Farm Bill Friday! This week: we’re talking about the SAFE Act. Iowa is the second-largest agricultural exporter in the nation, but our markets and trade remain vulnerable to foreign animal disease. That’s why I worked to include my SAFE Act”.
Also on April 17, Feenstra commented on an Iowa group visiting Washington D.C.: “Great to see Simon Conway and his wife, April, during their trip to our nation’s capital! They are chaperoning more than 50 Iowans around Washington, D.C. — checking out monuments, visiting museums, and much more. Always fun to see Iowans in D.C.! “
Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District since 2021 after serving over a decade in the Iowa Senate. He was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and continues to reside there. Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
