Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, highlighted legislative efforts and tax policy developments in a series of posts on April 8, 2026.
In one post, Feenstra addressed the impact of recent tax legislation for small businesses: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, small business owners will see an average tax cut of $4,600. Republicans are delivering real tax relief to our small businesses, who are the backbone of our economy.” (April 8, 2026).
Later that day, Feenstra commented on congressional ethics and financial transparency: “Being a Member of Congress should always be about service to the people, not a means to personally profit. I am happy to help lead the Stop Insider Trading Act, to ban elected officials from buying stocks and profiting off insider information. It’s time to restore trust” (April 8, 2026).
He also discussed benefits for seniors during Social Security Month: “This is great news for seniors across Iowa! This Social Security Month, I was proud to help deliver real relief to 90% of seniors through the Working Families Tax Cuts.” (April 8, 2026).
Feenstra has served in Congress since defeating Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
