Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, has used his social media platform to highlight recent legislative actions and their impacts on working families and the agricultural sector.
On March 31, 2026, Feenstra addressed tax relief for tipped workers, writing, “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Republicans are delivering real relief for Americans who rely on tips to support their families.
Whether you’re working a double shift or picking up extra hours, you deserve to keep more of what you earn.

That’s why I was pleased to fund animal health labs and my SAFE Act in the Farm Bill, to protect biosecurity, trade, and rural communities.”
The following day, April 1, Feenstra again focused on tax relief for tipped workers: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, tipped workers will take home an average of $1,300 more.
That’s real, targeted relief for the everyday workers who power our economy and keep Main Street thriving.”
Feenstra has been active in Congress since defeating Steve King in 2021. Before joining Congress, he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 until his election to federal office. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and a graduate of Dordt University with a BA degree in 1991, Feenstra continues to reside in Hull as he represents his district at the national level.
