Rep. Randy Feenstra, U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, posted a series of updates on April 15, 2026, addressing tax policy and public safety concerns for Iowans.
In his first post of the day, Feenstra highlighted his dual committee roles in Congress: “As the only Member of Congress serving on both the House Ways and Means Committee and the Agriculture Committee, I was glad to be a direct voice and advocate for raising the Death Tax exemption, helping save over 50,000 family farms in Iowa. Randy Feenstra succeeded Steve King as representative of Iowa’s 4th district in Congress after winning election in 2020. Before his tenure in Congress began in January 2021, he served as an Iowa state senator from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991.
