Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of updates on social media about recent community engagement and initiatives involving his team.

On August 21, Feenstra posted about a team visit to a local agricultural business: “Last night, Jim on our team toured Dragotec— a state-of-the-art combine head parts distributor — with an amazing facility in Fenton. The tour was coordinated by @IowaFarmBureau Region 4, which includes Emmet, Hancock, Kossuth, Winnebago, Cerro Gordo, and Worth counties.” The post highlights collaboration with the Iowa Farm Bureau’s Region 4 and emphasizes regional agricultural industry connections.

Later that day, Feenstra reported on another outreach effort focused on veterans’ services: “Yesterday, Ann — our caseworker — spoke at the Franklin County Veterans monthly picnic about what assistance our office can provide to veterans. From navigating the VA to getting Social Security benefits, we are here to support our veterans and their families.” This underscores ongoing constituent service efforts aimed at assisting veterans in accessing government resources.

On August 22, Feenstra announced the launch of an educational technology initiative: “The 2025 Congressional App Challenge has officially begun! This competition gives middle and high school students the opportunity to have fun while coding and building their own app. I strongly encourage Iowa students to participate!”

Randy Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Steve King. Prior to serving in Congress, he was a member of the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and a graduate of Dordt University (1991), Feenstra continues to reside in Hull as he carries out his congressional duties.
