Rep. Randy Feenstra, a U.S. Congressman representing Iowa’s 4th district since 2021, recently shared updates on social media regarding military honors, local school achievements, and tax policy.
On March 7, 2026, Feenstra wrote about attending a solemn event honoring servicemembers killed in action: “It is a solemn honor to attend the dignified transfer of these brave servicemembers who were killed by an Iranian drone strike on March 1st. Our state and our nation grieve their loss, including Army Reserve Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien and Sgt. Declan J. Coady. In this moment, we”.
Two days later, on March 9, he congratulated a local school for its athletic success: “Congratulations to Rock Valley Community Schools on winning the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Championship! This incredible achievement is a testament to the hard work, determination, and teamwork of these outstanding student-athletes. They have made our community”.
That same day, Feenstra commented on federal tax policy: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, we have boosted the Child Tax Credit to $2,200. President Trump is investing in the American family!”.
Feenstra has represented Iowa’s 4th District in Congress since succeeding Steve King in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. He was born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and continues to reside there. Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a BA in 1991.
