Rep. Randy Feenstra, who represents Iowa’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his official Twitter account about local achievements and federal policy changes.
On April 8, 2026, Feenstra welcomed members of the Iowa National Guard returning from overseas deployment. The following day, on April 9, 2026, he recognized students from Iowa State University for their accomplishments in a national competition. Later that same day, Feenstra commented on recent tax legislation impacting small businesses: “Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, Republicans have restored 100% immediate expensing. Small businesses can now fully deduct the cost of new equipment and property in the year they purchase it, helping them reinvest, grow, and create jobs.”
Feenstra has served as U.S. Representative for Iowa’s 4th district since replacing Steve King in 2021; prior to that he served in the Iowa Senate from 2009 to 2021. Born in Hull, Iowa in 1969 and currently residing there at age 54, Feenstra graduated from Dordt University with a bachelor’s degree in 1991.
