Ribbon Cutting – Hunt A+ Arts Element…

Description:

Join us in celebrating the opening of Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School.

The new Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School opened its doors in time to welcome students for the 2022-23 school year. It is three times larger than the previous Hunt building, the beautiful new building incorporates a contemporary design with touches of nostalgia, including a large “Hunt” sign carved into sandstone from the original school building. One of five specialty elementary schools in the Sioux City Community School District, Hunt A+ Arts Elementary School incorporates visual and performing arts throughout its curriculum. Students are introduced to a new art form each quarter and produce and star in a major production each year. Approximately 265 students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade attend Hunt A+ Art Elementary School, one of 21 schools in the Sioux City Community School District.
