U.S. Senator Joni Ernst announced on Mar. 16 that Boone River Financial of Hamilton County has been named her Small Business of the Week. Ernst, who chairs the Senate Small Business Committee, plans to recognize a small business in each of Iowa’s 99 counties during the 119th Congress.
The recognition highlights the importance of small businesses in local communities and their role in supporting economic growth across Iowa. By spotlighting these businesses, Ernst aims to encourage entrepreneurship and acknowledge those making a difference at the county level.
“Boone River Financial has become a trusted partner for individuals and businesses in Webster City, delivering financial advice and services that pay dividends,” said Chair Ernst. “By prioritizing personal relationships, this small business continues to invest in their clients and empowers them to make confident financial decisions.”
Boone River Financial was founded in 2021 by Andrew Hejlik and offers services such as investment management, comprehensive financial planning, and 401(k) advisory support. The company focuses on helping both individuals and business owners develop strategies for long-term growth within Hamilton County.
Ernst leads the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship and also serves on several other committees including Armed Services; Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry; and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs according to her official website.
