September is Library Card Sign-up Month and getting a Library card is easier than ever!

Full-service Library cards are free to all Sioux City residents.

Books are just the beginning. The Sioux City Public Library offers access to premium online databases that provide a range of information on topics such as genealogy research, financial planning and advice, legal forms, health information, language learning and even live tutoring for kindergarten through college students. 

The Library also offers meeting spaces for community groups, an extensive collection of auto repair manuals, local history resources, test proctoring, free computer and WiFi access, mobile hotspot checkouts, and one-on-one technology assistance.  Printing and photocopying are also available at the Library.

For instant access to the Library’s vast collection of eResources, including eBooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, movies, and music, adult residents can sign up for an Online Library Card at SiouxCityLibrary.org/newcard.

For access to all of the resources the Sioux City Public Library has to offer, including all eResources and the thousands of physical books, DVDs, mobile hotspots, and other materials available for checkout, visit any of the three locations to register for a full-service Library Card.
