The Sioux City Farmers Market is holding the second organizational meeting on Wednesday, March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Gleeson Room at the Downtown Public Library in Sioux City, IA.

The Farmers Market returns this year to the Tyson Events Center parking lot following fourteen very successful years. The first steps in this return are organizational meetings to update existing vendors and introduce ourselves to prospective new vendors. The meeting is open to all interested vendors and the
general public.

Organizers of the Market are looking for additional vendors of bread, dairy products, fruit, art, crafts, and, plants, plus other compatible products to join into the 2022 Sioux City Farmers Market.

Buy Fresh Buy Local – Siouxland, Inc. (BFBL-S) is the non-profit operator of the Market and is a member of both the Iowa Buy Fresh Buy Local Initiative and the Food Routes organization, bringing fresh, locally produced products to the tables in Siouxland. At the meeting BFBL-S volunteers and staff will update vendors
on the success of last season, plans, changes and improvements for 2022.

In partnership with the Tyson Events Center and the City of Sioux City, the Market will again be located at the corner of Pearl Street and Tri View Avenue on the Tyson Center parking lot beginning May 4th and running each week until October 29th on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
