The City of Sioux City, on behalf of Union Pacific Railroad, announces the closures of four railroad crossings to allow for the replacement of crossing surfaces. Dates are tentative and may vary based on weather or other working conditions. Closures are anticipated to take no longer than 5 days at each location to complete preparation, rehabilitation, and place new asphalt crossing surfaces. A summary is included below:

Location: 11th Street (At the Railroad Crossing Directly East of Floyd Boulevard)

• Dates: June 15, 2023 – June 19, 2023

• Detour Route: Floyd Boulevard to 4th Street to Hoeven Drive 

Location: 18th Street (At the Railroad Crossing Directly East of Floyd Boulevard)

• Dates: June 15, 2023 – June 19, 2023

• Detour Route: Floyd Boulevard to 28th Street to Hawkeye Drive

Location: 41st Street (At the Railroad Crossing Directly East of Floyd Boulevard)

• Dates: June 26, 2023 – June 29, 2023

• Detour Route: Floyd Boulevard to Outer Drive to Business 75

Location: 46th Street (At the Railroad Crossing Directly East of Floyd Boulevard)

• Dates: June 26, 2023 – June 29, 2023

• Detour Route: Business 75 to Outer Drive to Highway 75
