With the end of school in sight, Sioux City Parks and Recreation is gearing up for summer programming! We want families, youth, and adults to find a way to get active this summer with Parks and Recreation. Below are some highlighted programs through the end of July:

       Youth Programs

  • Track camp at the STF Expo Center (May 3 – May 24)
  • Youth Tee ball at Riverside fields Saturday mornings (June 10 – July 15)
  • *New Lacrosse Camp at STF Expo Center 9am-11am (June 14 – 15)

    Family Programs

  • 1st Movie in the Park at Grandview Park: Minions: The Rise of Gru (June 10)
  • Live Healthy Iowa Track Meet at Elwood Olsen Stadium (June 1)
  • 1st “Pop-Up-Park” of the summer at Dale St. Park (June 20)
  • 2nd “Pop-Up-Park” of the summer at Lyons Park (July 11)

    Adult Programs

  • Beer Yoga at Cone Park on Wednesday nights (May 31 – October 4)
  • FREE Yoga in the Park Saturday mornings on the riverfront (June 3 – Aug 26)
  • FREE Zumba in the Park at Anderson Dance Pavilion on Monday nights (June 5 – Aug 28)
  • Summer Cornhole League at the STF Expo Center Thursday nights (June 8 – July 13)
  • Urban Scramble (Sioux City’s “Amazing Race”) at STF Expo Center (June 17)
