American Heart Month

Walking for a Healthy Heart – February 4, 2022 12 – 1pm

Celebrate National Wear Red Day with the Le Mars YMCA and Floyd Valley Healthcare on Friday, February 4 at the YMCA. Everyone is welcome to walk in the gym from 12-1pm at no charge. You can just walk or walk and stop at our booths to learn more about heart health. You can also sign-up for our next CPR certification class. After your walk enjoy a dietician-approved heart healthy snack from the YMCA and Floyd Valley Healthcare.

Support American Heart Month

Wear a heart health awareness t-shirt. To participate you may order your t-shirt from Get Branded at https://www.getbranded360.com/ecommerce/fvh-january-2022-heart-health.html or contact Lori at 546.4911.A percentage of the sales supports Floyd Valley Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Stop by the YMCA and sign your name to a heart supporting Walking for a Healthy Heart. Hearts will be displayed at the Y.

Consider making a Healthy Heart donation at the Le Mars YMCA. Donations will be used to offer YMCA Membership scholarships to Floyd Valley Cardiac Rehabilitation patients.

The Le Mars YMCA and Floyd Valley Healthcare are partnering for National Wear Red Day to help you adopt a healthier lifestyle and bring awareness to heart health.
