This is the seventh highest average salary per county earned by coaches at Iowa post-secondary schools during 2022.

Woodbury County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, Morningside University stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $45,266.

Male coaches of men's teams received $44,948 on average in Woodbury County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $41,025.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
