City of Anthon issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.
The City of Anthon is accepting applications for a full-time Public Works Superintendent. Job includes planning, organizing and maintenance of water, wastewater and street departments, plus snow removal, city parks, city buildings, equipment and other manual labor. Successful applicant will also work in support of the Electric Department. High school graduate and three years experience in public works area, or equivalent preferred, however trainees may be considered. Class B CDL required or ability to obtain. Must possess or obtain within a reasonable amount of time a Grade II Water Treatment Plant Certification, Grade II Water Distribution Operator Certification and Grade I Lagoon Wastewater Certification.
