I will continue to advocate for our families, farmers & main streets!"

Later that day, Feenstra discussed recent political developments and trade issues during an interview with Fox News Radio. In his post he wrote, "Yesterday, I spoke with @RyanSchmelzFOX on @foxnewsradio about the ongoing Democrat shutdown and President Trump’s strong trade deals for Iowa farmers. We also talked about President Trump’s historic peace agreement in the Middle East."

In another post from October 17, Feenstra described a discussion on manufacturing's role in Iowa's economy: "This week, I had the chance to talk to Greg Slotsky on KCHE in Cherokee to talk about the importance of manufacturing to Iowa's economy.
