City of Storm Lake issued the following announcement on Feb. 12.
The City of Storm Lake will be constructing a wetland on property south of the Tyson Wastewater Treatment Plan located on 630th Street, west of US Highway 71.
The construction work will start as soon as the weather allows, and will last through the 2020 calendar year, with final restoration and project completion in 2021. The Contractor will be excavating soil for the creation of wetlands, including the installation of native vegetation in the form of seeding & landscaping to enhance water quality to Outlet Creek, and create wildlife habitat.
