City of Storm Lake issued the following announcement on Feb. 12.
At the February 17, 2020, regular Council meeting, a work session is planned regarding a review of the proposed FY 2021 Budget for the City of Storm Lake.
Public comment is not a usual practice at work sessions. Because of the importance of public participation in the budget process, Mayor Porsch is opting to allow time for comments at this work session. Comments will be considered on the regular budget as well as capital improvement budgets.
Interested residents are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts at this meeting. The meeting will begin at 5:00 PM at City Hall, 620 Erie Street in Storm Lake. The meeting agenda will be available Friday, February 14, 2020, on the city’s website www.stormlake.org.
