CITY OF CHEROKEE: Effective immediately Cherokee City Hall will be closed to the public

City of Cherokee issued the following announcement on Mar. 18. 

Effective immediately Cherokee City Hall will be closed to the public. All library activities, park and recreation activities, and Cherokee Community Center rentals will be cancelled until further notice.

City Hall and the Cherokee Community Center will continue to be staffed, phones will be answered, mail opened, and work performed. Utility bills can be paid via credit card by calling City Hall or online at https://cherokeeiowa.net. You may also make payments in the night drop box in the City Hall Parking Lot. Automatic bank payment is also an option and can be set up by calling City Hall.

The Library will also remain staffed; however, it is likely that the hours of staffing will be modified; please follow the Library Facebook Page for more information.
