City of Anthon issued the following announcement on Apr. 24.
Anthon citywide Clean-up Day will be Tuesday, April 28, 2020. Stickers must be purchased at City Hall for appliances ($10.00) and small vehicle tires ($7.50). Set these items out at the curb for the city crew to pick up.Please call City Hall @ 373-5218 prior to coming in to get your stickers as our doors are still locked at this time.
If you are setting out a refrigerator or a freezer please remove all food items. Furniture (whole or in pieces) is limited to 2 items per household. Sanitary Services will be picking up anything two men can lift. However they will NOT accept hazardous waste, trees, batteries, tractor or semi tires, yard waste and remodeling debris. Put your items out at your regular garbage pickup location the night before.
The City of Anthon will not be responsible for items missed during the clean up. If you have questions please call City Hall at 373-5218.
